Summary of the Theory of Computer Evolution
Computer evolution is not as much a scientific theory as it is an established
and undeniable explanation of origins. It is the framework into which any
investigation of computer origins needs to be incorporated. Only
ignorant bigots will question its veracity, since computer
evolution has been researched by some of the most brilliant minds
in human history, who have used the most advanced word processing
software for formatting their findings.
The major parts of computer evolution, all of which have been demonstrated
in repeatable laboratory conditions and are backed by reams of hard proof, are
these:
- The spontaneous generation of working computers from inanimate elements.
- The obvious progression up the computer evolutionary tree - from single
CPU'd computers (protocpuitic) to the modern multi-CPU'd (polycpuitic)
machines. This progression can be clearly seen in the computer-fossil
record.
- The advance of computer technology by a process of advantageous mutations
and varitations.
- The elimination of out-dated technology by natural selection.
- Moore's law. Computers double in capacity and get smaller in a scientific
kind of way that unequivocally supports the theory of computer evolution.
These postulates apply to computer hardware, computer software and computer
networks.
